Anand Has To Play As The World Champion That He Is!

With only 4 games remaining in the World Chess Championship Match going on in Chennai (Madras), India, the reigning World Champion Viswanathan Anand, who is trailing Challenger Magnus Carlsen of Norway 3-5, has to come up with SOMETHING EXTRA ORDINARY to be back in the match!

THE World Champion that he IS, is no more 'seen' as he looks like the shadow of what HE REALLY IS & he is seen doing ONLY A QUARTER OF WHAT HE IS REALLY CAPABLE OF DOING against anyone, in the game of chess! Chess GM Project 'FEELS' that the environment in which Anand 'IS KEPT' is NOT AT ALL CONDUCIVE to make him play his usual self!

We, @ Chess GM Project, think that the Indian Media also do their LOT in creating this dull & monotonous environment! If some one from a foreign country is ditching Anand that is understandable; BUT, here we see the media, both print & visual, going all out in favour of Magnus, without any reason! This has been the case from the day one of the Match!

With a lot of Non Chess People & Reporters in the World Championship media room & with the AICF media officer guarding it like a gene, one can hardly wish for a genuine reportage that will do justice to Anand! What is happening INSIDE the media room is that the Non Chess Reporters Inside – And, they are many! - rush to those who know the game, after each & every game, & vomit the same things the ‘Knowledgeable People Inside’ have stated, in their language on the medium they have – Oh! What a quality reporting of the World Chess Championship!!
Excluding some from the Chess realm like GM Pravin Thipsay, Hari Hara Nandanan, Hareesh from Malayala Manorama, Kozhikode, most of the reporters – Excluding the foreign reporters, ofcourse! – are NON CHESS REPORTERS who don’t knowthe art of reporting Chess, as most of them don’t know chess of any standard; and, it is the World Chess Championship going on! When the Non Chess People & Reporters go after the interests of Magnus in basket ball & other things which are far away from the realm of chess, as they are very fond of whatever that is 'WHITE' - May be due to the Colonial Past Indians have!!! - the likes & dislikes of 'WHITES' and the general silly things & matters, it is Anand, the Indian World Champion, who suffers from the lack of support from the Indian media - which means the support of the Indian Chess Players & Lovers, by default! And, it IS THE SITUATION where, from the HUGE SUPPORT the Indians SHOULD give Anand, Anand get the INSPIRATION to win the World Crown, ONE MORE TIME!
It is a pity that NO INDIAN CHESS BLOGGER has been given access to the media room, in this World Chess Championship, that REAL THINGS emerge from it! And, it is UTTERLY DISGUSTING that every Jack, Dick & Harry is entertained inside the media room, provided EITHER he is white or carry a press card! The police men employed @ the World Championship venue are ALWAYS EAGER to push & shove any dark skinned individual – Read ‘Indian’! - with all their INSENSITIVE MIGHT, in any area that is related to the World Chess Championship; and, loyalty of the highest degree ooze or drool out of these same policemen when some white skinned persons are near them! It seems the Raj is still going on! And, it’s REALLY sickening!?!

And, in the ‘Live Commentary’ box for India’s National TV, Doordarshan (Doordarshan ‘Sports’), Susan Polgar ALWAYS & ONLY talks great things about Magnus, from the day one, with Indian GM RB Ramesh sitting by her as the co commentator. In the last game - (Game 8) - Magnus’ ordinary17. Re1 was trumpeted as something Out Of The World by Susan, during the running commentary. Going by the Susan commentary on ‘Their Own Sports’ channel, it seems to the average chess player & chess lover in India that All Magnus’ Goose Are Swans! & All Anand Swans Are Geese!’?!

Anand REALLY has to be WHAT HE REALLY IS – THE WORLD CHAMPION OF LEGENDARY PROPORTIONS – and play like the World Champion, without ever getting sucked into the World of Maya, created by his distracters & an unfavourable Indian Media! He HAS TO use whatever skills & preparation he has in the coming 4 games to push the match into the tie breaker territory! As we, Chess GM Project, pointed out to Anand’s logistics manager “Anand should come 2 know about 'HIMSELF' - Very Important Concept Of Indians!-  & PLAY LIKE THE WORLD CHAMPION THAT HE IS!”! We suggested our 2 articles to him as well : (http://chessgmproject.blogspot.in/2013/11/viswanathan-anand-untold.html

We, Chess GM Project, expect & know that Anand will come back into the match BIG TIME tomorrow, firing all the cylinders, and from tomorrow onwards, He will be what he IS, the One With No Parallels In The History Of Chess!!!

Now, after the rest day tomorrow, Anand REALLY has to come up with something EXTRA ORDINARY that he stands the chance to draw the 12 game match & go for the tie breaker session! Any way, it can be considered a ‘Relief Break’ tomorrow for Anand as after the rest day he has the white pieces, the one out of the last 2 whites he will have in the 12 game classical match!

World Championship Gambit!

In the 90s Anand rose in the chess horizon as ‘the’ contender for the world champion crown by winning a number of super tournaments ahead of Kasparov, Karpov, Ivanchuk, Gelfand (The last 2 always supported by the heavily biased chess media as the best 2 options after the 2 Ks for the world champion crown & Anand projected as a distant 3rd!) & Kamsky.

Hence, whatever that was possible was thrown at Anand to prevent him from becoming something that most of the heavily biased chess fraternity didn't want him to be - the World Champion! He has always been understated in the chess media & this trend was started way back in the 90s & with the wholesome support of the so called 'rulers of the chess world'! Anand had always been portrayed as a pretender to the throne who had very less chance of succeeding in it while all the above said Super Heroes of the media were live & kicking! And, these created super heroes were always eulogised @ the expense of an Anand who never cared to complain, which he continues to do till now! Karpov & Kasparov, both of whom, though they were not in talking terms in that long period of time, were mentally united to ward off the one & only real & present danger to their K Kingdom - Viswanathan Anand!

The 13th world chess champion was rendered IRRELEVENT 13 years ago is a fact that never sank into the chess world or never made to sink in by the inimitable gimmicks & techniques employed by him, from time to time! From 2000, when he lost to Kramnik in a world championship match under PCA which he created to Promote Himself & nobody else, the relevance of Kasparov has gone into a virtual tailspin from where he successfully maintained himself on the world stage & continuously grabbed the attention of the chess world by the sheer gimmicks & tricks which he continuously employed, despite being far from his hey days & the pinnacle of his thinking ability!

From 2000 his mental abilities declined substantially & he fell into something that is NOT fit to a mind champion is properly explained in his political entry & the eventual failure in public life in Russia as happened in his chess life, since 2000!  His Latvian Try clearly shows his unstable & uncertain state of mind where nothing is certain, which was NOT the state when he ruled the chess world from the Karpov-Kasparov days to 2000! What he tries to do when he descends on the Chennai sky for a couple of days, during the world championship 2013 is a try to browbeat & intimidate Anand by his ‘SUPPOSED’ presence. BUT, what he never knew is that Anand is not the same person whom he intimidated by his lowly tricks & gimmicks in the 1995 world championship match! He even foolishly forgets that Anand is the Reigning World Champion who has won the World Champion Crown in every possible format which the Self Proclaimed & Self Propelled So Called ‘Great’ Kasparov was never able to do!

By Trumpeted Words Kramnik in 2008 & Topalov in 2010 tried to unseat Anand, with the support of the chess media, which ALWAYS presented Anand as somebody who would be vanquished by these ‘Voice Producers’ of great capacity!
But, Anand proved beyond any doubt what he IS & positioned himself among the Greatest Of The Men Who Played The Game Of Chess, EVER!

Easy come, easy go! Since 2010, after Anand successfully defended his title against a very vociferous Topalov in Sofia, Carlsen’s rise – In World Chess Media, as well! - has been phenomenal! All over the chess media he had been heavily highlighted as the future world champion. Trumpets were blown in the name of Carlsen, world over, in the chess media. The western chess media started to dance according to the Carlsen tunes set by the persons who wanted to dethrone Anand & put someone white on his Throne! But, every one knew that dethroning Anand was never going to be easy as he had FIRMELY established his hegemony, which once established Thrashing the So Called Match Expert & Blue Eyed Boy of FIDE Kramnik ( 2008) & the Noisy Topalov ( 2010) was going to last a century!

The Chess Coterie knew pretty well that Anand was going to last on the throne for quite long, as, by this time, Anand had learned more than enough to know how to maintain himself on the Chess Everest. His group of seconds (Peter Heine Nielsen, Rustam Kazhimdzhanov, Radoslaw Wojtaszek, SS Ganguly& others) had clearly become the envy of the chess world! There was never a chance for anybody to upstage him. Hence, from 2010, the Coterie did whatever they can do to unseat Anand.

World chess media started to incessantly publish whatever the Chess Coterie dished out as the main & happening things, in the chess world. All these started to come out as the responses to the planted queries, opinion, comments, discussion points etc! Then, it started to HIGHLIGHT the age factor of Anand –The Age Propaganda started with Topalov Howling @ Sofia before the Sofia World Chess Championship, though!-  & the diminishing motivational levels! As in chess, (Altered to suit the western followers of the Indian Game Chaturanga!), in chess media also ‘The White’ automatically has the first mover advantage!

To highlight the ‘potential’ powers of the prince Carlsen, the Coterie & chess media HIGHLIGHTED that the ‘so called’ King Kasparov ‘himself’ trained him that ‘SOME’ fear be grown in the mind of the World Champion Par Excellence – Viswanathan Anand! Nobody told that Kasparov Expired in 2000 with the Kasparov-Kramnik Match & the spectre remained till 2005 ‘ONLY’ due to the marketing skills (The below par techniques he uses to stay himself in the lime light, by hook or by crook!) of the 13th world champion! What the Coterie never knew is that the much out dated (As out dated & dethroned as ‘King’ Kasparov himself has become!) & sub standard ‘Staring, Clock Banging, Imposing Tactics’ Kasparov ‘successfully’ used against a much less experienced Anand in the 1990s were never going to be anything but silly & stupid jokes for the well experienced & wonderfully matured Reigning World Chess Champion, Viswanathan Anand!

When the 2012 Anand-Gelfand World Championship Match all of a sudden got transplanted to Russia, despite Chennai getting the assurances from an ever feeble & unstable FIDE of it being the venue for the championship, the Coterie that worked for the venue shift smiled in the hope that Anand would be dethroned in Moscow as sudden changes in the match plan could be a scare for the defending champion! The well experienced & matured Anand got through the fire wall & thrashed the hopes of the Coterie once again!

Then, out of the blue, came the declaration from Kazhimdzhanov that he would be taking a BREAK from Anand’s team! Then, Carlsen re entered the Candidates cycle (After a long break from the cycle, as somebody thinks Carlsen was advised by ‘someone special’ to stay away from the world championship cycle as ‘if’ at all he becomes the world champion @ that age he could have become the youngest, pushing ‘King’ Kasparov into the second spot!) - with ‘Nothing’ changed in the cycle! - with Peter Heine Nielsen as his training partner! Carlsen surged ahead in the Candidates 2013 in the beginning but faltered at the fag end of the event that saw Kramnik emerging as the challenger! BUT, Kramnik TOO slipped in the last round as he lost surprisingly in the last round giving Carlsen the opportunity to eventually emerge the winner on a better tie break!

Here, we see THE GAMBIT!

As Kramnik as the challenger stood no chance against Anand, as he had been wholesomely demolished by Anand in Bonn & been left irreparably shattered mentally, as well, it becomes utterly sensible to allow Carlsen to have a shade of a chance to challenge Anand & dethrone him, with Peter Heine Nielsen being deliberately kept away from the Anand team, for the first time, to add pressure on Anand & his team, stating the IMPARTIALITY VIRTUE! Helping or supporting some one for a tournament is one thing & being a part of a team for a quite a long time, and that too the World Champion’s Team, is another! Moving Peter Heine Nielsen out of Anand’s team, for whatever reasons stated, is DEFINITELY part of another game plan, the gambit!

The Invincibility of Carlsen CREATED & MARKETED by the Coterie (Which crumbled like anything in the last stages of the Candidates 2013!), the highlighted 95 point rating difference between the world champion & the challenger, the widely circulated tricky notion that Anand has won all his world titles away from home etc ARE nothing but the integral parts of the illusory ‘Maya’ in India! - jig saw created by the Coterie to upstage Anand! And, it is interesting & at the same time sad that the Coterie has found buyers of their notions in India, where, Maya was introduced & explained for the one & only time in Human History!

Some one expects that playing behind the curtains & then reaping the benefits without anybody noticing it is something EASY than fighting face to face, knowing fully well that the opponent ONLY can win in a direct fight, as he is no one other than the Chess Legend from India, Viswanathan Anand! Some one, one in the Coterie, thinks that after dethroning Anand, if, at all, he is dethroned, he can easily out play Carlsen in a MATCH! Gambit........A World Class One......Fishing in the muddled waters! But, better, at the least, Indians stay out of the World Of Maya, created by those who ardently wish to sit on the throne of the game Indians invented thousands of years ago, which is presently decorated by none other than the Indian Legend, Viswanathan Anand!

Viswanathan Anand – The Untold!

The World Chess Championship is going to begin in Chennai (Olden Day Madras) in a couple of days! The World Chess Champion from India, Viswanathan Anand, will take on the pretender to the throne World Number 1 Magnus Carlsen of Norway in a Classical World Championship Match!

It is speculated that World Number 1 Magnus Carlsen has an edge over Anand as punters say he has 'a huge advantage due to his lower age - more than half of years ‘lived less’ on the surface of mother Earth than Anand has done 'successfully'! - & motivational level! These punters 'deliberately' forget the quality of wine is its age & for experience there are no real substitutes.

Vishy has been on the top of the chess world for more than 2 decades & he has been the undisputed world champion since 2007, making his challengers Kramnik, Topalov & Gelfand history! This great feat he has achieved against all the odds speaks volumes about the 'Legend Quality' that he has got.

He fought against a biased world of chess players & chess lovers from a very young age & he has always been harassed by the step motherly attitude of the world chess bodies that are realistically dominated by the western-spirited personalities, for ages! Despite all these not so enviable things & situations, where mortals have never thread, he walked with the utmost patience & dignity & achieved what a true Indian could ONLY have achieved - The Title Of The World Champion - as if he, an Indian, is entitled to have the world champion title of a game that is born in this great nation of thought & ideas!

Seeing an Indian as World Chess Champion for ages has never been something palatable for a lot of people who used to see & eulogise whatever that is western. When the 'Lightning Kid' metamorphosised himself to the junior world chess champion & became the first GM of India in 1988 he was still considered as an upstart who would fade in time as many had experienced!

In the 90s he became a major force to reckon with & there were no parallels in chess history in the matter of Speed! Most of the times he had been ‘deliberately’ presented (By the ‘who is who’ of the chess world!) in the world media as an underdog and was projected as something of a 'Lucky Time Chess Master'! The international chess media made him look like a 'Lightning Kid' trying to walk along the chess colossus of the pro western chess world! But time proved that the 'Kid' out classed the colossus & remained the Champion of the World for a very long long time, that the new generations saw Viswanathan Anand as the pole star in the ever changing firmament!

The western world which always wanted a world champion from the west tried their best to push the pole star out of the firmament by all the means at their disposal; but the star remained there showing direction to the wanderers of the unchartered chess world! Tens of thousands of people in the 1+billion society of India took chess into their heart with love as they were never failingly guided by the pole star of chess, Viswanathan Anand of India who was successfully 'SHORTENED' by the not too friendly western media & the who is who of the chess world as 'Vishy' Anand! Still, his unique powers never got 'Shortened' despite all the efforts of the persons who wanted to remove the star from the firmament, the pole star shone on the horizon!

The 'Supposed To Be' all time great Garry Kasparov treated Anand as badly as he can and FIDE, the main accomplice to demote Anand in stature, also did the same by making a Totally Tired Anand play against a much rested & FIDE Fav Guy Anatoly Karpov in a world championship match in which due to wholesome exhaustion Anand lost. Again, Kramnik & Topalov, both of them became World Champion's challengers, spoke about Anand in not so complimentary words that is due to a world champion of his stature.

The Gentleman Polestar of the Chess Firmament never got disturbed by this much below the par standard of behaviour of his opponents & contemporaries! Even when he became the ONLY world champion who has won the title in all the formats of the game play he was hailed 'INCOMPARABLE' ONLY by a very small number of international media! Always he was treated BAD! Before he became the world chess champion for the first time in 2000 & ruled over the undisputed chess world since 2007, he was meted out with the same sort of apathy, all over the world, mostly!

Now, when he is the ONE & ONLY Anand in the Chess World, of whom one can always be Happy about (Anand = Happiness in India!), the who is who of the chess world & the west slanted chess media say Anand has to beat Carlsen to be counted in the all time greats; what an absurd request?! The dumb as a door nail pro western chess media foolishly ignore that there is LITERALLY NOTHING Anand has to prove & he is NEVER going to prove –To satisfy an insatiable pro western chess media - what he has become long ago i.e One of the all time chess greats as whatever he has achieved, which is unparalleled in chess history, has been achieved against all odds, i.e. against a West centred chess fraternity, West centred world chess governing body FIDE, West centred chess contemporaries & all those who always wanted to see a man from the West on the World Chess Throne!

Kasparov, Karpov, Kramnik, Topalov & FIDE itself played all the tricks @ their disposal to prevent HIM from GREATNESS which he duly deserved; but, they never succeeded in their plans! FIDE, the chess body, made Anand play against Topalov ONLY a couple of days after his 40 hours bus journey due to a volcano eruption in Europe which made the life in Europe come into a grinding halt, thinking that he would be dethroned by the Karpov-Like Rested Topalov who played the championship in his backyard Sofia. In the Anand-Gelfand match, FIDE, despite giving assurances that Chennai would host the world championship, all of a sudden, from nowhere, CONDUCTED A BID & AN ARTFULLY 'LEAKED' Indian Bid saw Anand play in Russia! Again, trampling the ballooned expectations of the pro west chess world & FIDE, Anand emerged victorious with flying colours and for once & all established himself as the Living Legend of the Chess World, never ever bothering whether the pro west  people, contemporaries & media describe & engrave him as one of the all time greats, in their pro western chess annals!

The west dominated world media is still far away from accepting & declaring Anand as one of the greatest chess players ever born shows how arrogant, sub standard & low it has become that it REGULARLY points out new criterion, one after another, for Anand to meet – The sensible knows very well that they will continue doing what they have been doing UNASHAMEDLY all these years to infinity! – that they accept him as one of the all time greats! What these much less than sublime pseudo western media seldom understands or are ready to understand is its only idiots ask Quality & Greatness to prove they are Quality & Greatness!

Even Indian media neglected Anand where as they fell head over heals for the cricketing heroes of the country never remembering that cricket is a game which is barely played in less than a score of countries, in the world, where as chess is played @ the competitive level in every country present in the world! There was even a university in Hyderabad which asked him to prove that he is an Indian that the sub standard university could confer its sub standard doctorate or some piece of sh*t on him! Nobody, till now, has taken the courage to scream, standing on the roof tops, that “Enough IS Enough & Just Shut Up & Watch Anand Play The Game As A Legend Plays, in his inimitable style!”

Anand, such a great gentle man chess player that he is, has never been concerned by the knaves, senile & dwarfs of the chess world who were just there to harass Quality & Greatness 24/7 & he plays on, unperturbed & wholesomely focussed, as the Great & Legendary World Champion that he is.........!
