Chess GM Project Exhibitions!


Chess GM Project Simultaneous Exhibitions On The Occasion Of WCC in India!
                 


On the occasion of the World Chess Championship conducted in India where the Indian World Champion Vishy Anand takes on the World Number 1 Magnus Carlsen of Norway, Chess GM Project, to promote chess among school children & others, plans to conduct a number of Simultaneous Chess Exhibitions in the Indian states of Karnataka & Kerala.
             
At any chosen location, in these states, Chess GM Project members including the Founder Director Mr.Johnson.V (Bangalore) will take on 25-30 chess players @ the same time that people can 'feel' the excitement of the game! These simultaneous exhibitions, according to Mr.Johnson.V, will inspire students & other people to take up the ancient Indian game - CHESS!
                
"The game which improves one's concentration, confidence, attention span, responsibility, patience, analytical abilities and a number of other positive qualities will to do a world of good to the students of all ages", pointed out Mr.Johnson.V, speaking to the media in Bangalore. He also added that those students who play chess always excelled in studies as "chess is nothing but the learning & applying of the best possible logical ways & methods on the chess board" which is NEVER far away from a successful life!
Chess GM Project which came into existence more than 3 years back in 2010, as an initiative from Mr.Johnson.V, who was a 'Two Time Calicut University Chess Champion' in the latter part of the 1980s, with the aim of promoting this ancient Indian game of intelligence among masses & creating generations of good quality chess players who will stamp the authority of India on the Chess World!
