Under the auspicies of FIDE & AICF, United Karnataka Chess Association -UKCA- is conducting 5th Mangalore FIDE Rated International Open Chess Tournament from 16th to 23rd July, 2011.
In a tournament where players from 5 countries are expected to participate, a nice 5,55,555 Indian Rupees is the total cash prize offered! With 5 GMs & 25 IMs participating, this 500-player strong tournament will be a great event!
The venue is Radhakrishna Temple Hall, G.T Road, Mangalore, Karnataka - 575001. Entries with a late fee of Rs 300/- will be accepted upto 15th July 2011. The games will be played @ the rate of 40 moves in four hours - each player having 2 hours each.
