CHESS CHAMPIONSHIPS - 2011!
CHENNAI, TAMILNADU, INDIA
FROM 1ST TO 16TH OF AUGUST, 2011
THE WORLD JUNIORS & JUNIOR GIRLS U-20 CHESS CHAMPIONSHIPS 2011 WILL BE CONDUCTED UNDER THE AUSPICES OF WORLD CHESS GOVERNING BODY FIDE, ALL INDIA CHESS FEDERATION (AICF) & TAMILNADU CHESS ASSOCIATION (TNSCA), IN CHENNAI, TAMILNADU, INDIA!
The championships are scheduled from 1st to 16th of August, 2011, at Chennai, India. Hundreds of chess players, from all over the world, are expected to participate. India will be serious contenders for a lot of titles in the various categories of the championships. It is a wonderful coincidence that the championships are conducted in Chennai, as it is the home town of the World Chess Champion Vishy Anand & he has shifted his base from Spain to Chennai, India, a couple of months back!
THE WORLD JUNIORS & JUNIOR GIRLS U-20 CHESS CHAMPIONSHIPS will be a big boost to the already fast growing Indian Chess Player Contigents, all over India! Thousands of fast growing chess players of various age groups will get morale boosting inspiration from these sorts of World Class Chess Tournaments, conducted in India! And, we can expect another couple of World Chess Champions, like Vishy Anand, from these players from India, who participate in these sorts of World Championships!
